The cause
Educating women workers in unorganized sectors about safety and support services
Every play helps women workers understand their rights and stay safer at work.
For women working in informal workplaces, knowing their rights and where to seek support can be the first step towards feeling safer and more empowered at work.
Through Her Safety Matters, ActionAid Association will educate women workers in Bhopal about workplace safety, the POSH Act, their rights at work and how to respond to harassment. The programme also helps women understand where and how to access institutional support.
ActionAid India works in collaboration with government institutions and other stakeholders to strengthen protection and redressal for women workers.
